Presentation Description
In this keynote we will discuss the RIOS framework as a guide for reflective conversations. We will outline the underlying principles of reflective practice, how this informs best practices, and current research on reflective supervision/consultation. The RIOS framework consists of five topics of conversation focusing on the perspectives of the different people in the work, as well as five steps of reflection describing what occurs during conversations. We will discuss how this RIOS tool can be used in the field and its application in understanding a complex story.
